Socket with cord

13 pol.
Order. 12750
ISO 11446 DIN 72570

A test line simplifies the control of sockets for trailers / caravans. From the driver’s seat, a person can control all functions of the socket. The test line is ideal for troubleshooting and repair.

TESTLINE – 12755

NEW: For cars with CAN-BUS systems:
With previously known test equipment, problems can occur when checking sockets on cars with CAN-BUS / Check-Control, as the load on the system is too small.
With GSE’s new Load Testline, these problems can be avoided.
Socket with cord
Order. 12755

Testline 12755 can be used for all cars old and new, both with and without CAN-BUS / Check-Control.

# The following cars have CAN-BUS / Check Control:
AUDI-BMW- Fiat- Ford- Mercedes- Nissan- Opel- Peugeot- VW etc. #

Technical specifications:

Testing of cars with CAN-BUS systems:
Testline 12755 has built-in automatic loading especially for testing cars with CAN-BUS / Electronic control systems. During the test, both indicator lights and the rear fog lamp are automatically loaded. Both taillights and stop lights have a constant load of 6W. Other features have no load.

Testing of cars without CAN-BUS systems:
At the same time, the load built into testing cars with CAN-BUS systems provides a proper test of cars without these systems, as wiring and plug connections are strained, and fault detection due to poor connections can be avoided.
To activate the load function in indicator and fog lamp, press the “TEST” button.

The green LEDs:
If Testline has been activated for too long, the load will be too hot and a thermal protection will disengage the load. At the same time, the green LEDs in question will glow red. When the LED turns green again, the load is active again.
Therefore, it is recommended to only press the “TEST” button for the shortest possible periods.
Average time before load gets too hot.
Indicator / rear fog lamp 1-2 min. Other functions 2-4 min.
NB. Features 9-10-12 have no load.

Power in load

Right turn signal 21 W
Left turn signal 21 W
Rear fog 21 W
Right tail light 06 W
Left taillight 06 W
Stoplight 06 W
Reversing 06 W

Testline is available in the following variants:
* With 13 pole connector ISO 11446 DIN 72570 Order no. 12755
* With 7 pole connector ISO 1724 Order no. 12655
The most versatile solution would be:
Test line 12755 with adapter No. 12945 ISO 11446 for WeSt connector ISO 1724 7 + 6, there are both 7 and 13 pole connectors.
This combination will cover all 7 and 13 pole connector combinations.
However, some cars require Adapter …………. Order. 12942

TESTLINE – 12757

Test line with lamp simulation

13-pol
Order. 12757

Testline No. 12757 is a further development of Testline No. 12755.
Newer cars are getting more and more advanced control functions, with peak current most often measured.
Therefore, it is important that test equipment for testing sockets, in the best possible way, mimic the lamps / lamps on a trailer.

This lamp simulation is very important, since a lamp has a peak current that is approx. the double of continuous current. G.S.E. has therefore developed a lamp simulation so that the test line mimics a 21W lamp approx. 95% in turn signal, stop light and fog lamp. Backlight does not have lamp simulation but load as the peak current is very small. In addition, newer cars are equipped with display / control functions to see if all the light on the trailer is working. In order for the workshop to check whether these control functions are working properly, you must be able to interrupt load in Testline.

Test line # 12757 is equipped with switches for each lighting function.
LEDs 1-8 are double-acting. When load is active, the LED is green; It switches to red when load is interrupted, either when manually interrupted or when overloaded. Without load, the LEDs on test line 12757 will not flash with a CAN-BUS signal, which VW especially does when the load is off. This issue has G.S.E. now eliminated.

In functions 9-10-12, LEDs are single acting only and without load.

Test line # 12757 is provided as standard with 13 pole connectors and 4.5m cord, but can be supplied as test connector No. 12707.

Power in load

Right turn signal 21 W
Left turn signal 21 W
Rear fog 21 W
Right tail light 12 W
Left taillight 12 W
Stoplight 42 W
Reversing 12 W
Test line with load for 24 V trucks

The test equipment can be delivered to trucks like MAN, Mercedes, Volvo etc., all of which have CAN-BUS / Check control systems.
Testline 12855 can be used for all cars, both with and without CAN-BUS / Check-Control

Order no .: 12855

15 Pol:
Testline 12855 has 10 meters of cable.

For test line – Effect in load:

Right turn signal 21 W
Left turn signal 21 W
Rear fog 21 W
Right tail light 08 W
Left taillight 08 W
Stoplight 08 W
Reversing 08 W

Test of trucks with CAN-BUS systems:

Test line 12855 and test plug 12805 have built-in automatic loading especially for testing trucks with CAN-BUS / Electronic control systems.

Both turn signals and fog lamps are automatically charged. Both taillights and stop lights have a constant load of 8W.
Other features have no load.

Testing of trucks with and without CAN-BUS systems:
At the same time, the load built into testing trucks with CAN-BUS systems provides a correct test of trucks without these systems, as wiring and plug connections are strained and faulty due to poor connections can be avoided.

To activate the load function, press the “TEST” button.

The green LEDs:
If Testline has been activated for too long, the load will be too hot and a thermal protection will disengage the load. At the same time, the green LEDs in question will glow red. When the LED turns green again, the load is active again.

Therefore, it is recommended to only press “TEST” for the shortest possible periods.

Average time before the load gets too hot:
Indicator / fog light 1-2 min.
Other functions 2-4 min.

NB. Function # 9 has no load.
